If you run a business on the Tweed Coast or Gold Coast, you already know people want to see who they're buying from. Not a logo. Not a stock photo of a laptop on a beach. You. That's what personal branding photography is for. It gives you real photos of you, your work and your space, so your website and socials actually look like your business.

I'm Lyn from Wonderland Photography, and I photograph business owners in my Banora Point studio and around the Tweed and Gold Coast. Here's what I offer, who it's for, and how to get the most out of it.

What is personal branding photography?

Personal branding photography is a session built around you and your business. It's more than a headshot. It's photos of you working, talking with clients, using your products, and being yourself in a setting that suits your brand.

You can use these photos on your:

• Website and About page

• Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn

• Google Business profile

• Email newsletters

• Media features, podcasts and speaker bios

When people land on your website and see the real you, they trust you faster. And trust is what turns a browser into a booking.

Personal branding or business branding?

I get asked this a lot, like what IS the difference and here is the simple explanation. Personal branding is about you as the face of your business. It suits coaches, consultants, practitioners, creatives, real estate agents and anyone people book because of who they are. While business branding is about the business itself. Your team, your shopfront, your clinic or studio, your products and what you do every day. It suits cafes, salons, retail stores, trades and local services.

Most small business owners need a bit of both, so I usually mix them into one session.

Headshots that don't look like a passport photo

A good headshot is the first thing people see on LinkedIn, your website and your Google profile. It should look like you on a good day, not stiff or overly polished. My studio has professional lighting and a few different setups, so we can get a clean, classic headshot and a few more relaxed options in the one session. My headshot package is 5 images for $250.

Product photography for small businesses

If you sell something, your product photos are doing the selling for you. Blurry phone photos on a kitchen bench don't do your work justice. I photograph products for small businesses, makers and online stores. We can do clean shots for your website and lifestyle shots that show your products being used. If you've got a launch coming up or your website photos need a refresh, this is a good place to start.

Short video content, without the stress

This is the newest thing I'm offering, and it's the one I'm pretty excited about. Most business owners know they should be posting video. The hard part is knowing what to say, setting it up and actually pressing record.

So I've started Studio Content Sessions. You come into my studio, I ask you the questions and you answer like we're having a chat. In one hour we film around 10 short clips you can post on your socials. That's one a week for 10 weeks, sorted.

I've got lighting, a lounge, chairs and stools, so we can match the look to your brand. If you'd rather be filmed at your own business, I can come to you as well.

Why work with me?

Before photography, I spent about 20 years in teaching. That means I'm good at helping people feel comfortable, especially people who'd rather be anywhere else than in front of a camera. I'll help you plan what to wear, what to bring and what shots you actually need, so you walk away with photos and content you'll use, not a gallery that sits on your hard drive.

And I've been running small businesses since 2006. I know what it's like to need content that does a job, on a budget that makes sense.

Ready to book?

If your website photos are a few years old, your socials feel quiet, or you've been meaning to sort your headshots for ages, let's chat.

I work with business owners across Tweed Heads, Banora Point, Kingscliff, Murwillumbah, Cabarita Beach and the Gold Coast.
