Those first few weeks with a new baby are beautiful, emotional, exhausting and usually a blur all at once.


My newborn sessions are calm, baby-led and completely relaxed. There’s time to feed, cuddle, settle and breathe. No pressure for perfect behaviour and no expectation that your toddler will suddenly cooperate because there’s a camera involved.


I photograph newborns in a way that feels natural and connected. The tiny details, the sleepy stretches, the way your baby fits into your arms right now.


Because one day these photographs won’t just remind you how everything looked. They’ll remind you how it felt to love them from the very beginning

When should I book my newborn session?

I recommend booking during pregnancy where possible, ideally in your second or early third trimester. Newborn sessions are usually photographed within the first 2 weeks, but I always allow flexibility because babies arrive on their own timeline.

Most newborn sessions take place within the first 7-14 days while babies are still very sleepy and curled up, but beautiful newborn photographs can absolutely still happen beyond this stage too. Older newborns are often more awake, expressive and interactive, which can be just as special.

What if my baby cries or won’t settle?

Honestly? Completely normal.

Newborn sessions are calm, flexible and baby-led, with plenty of time built in for feeding, cuddling, changing and settling. I never expect babies to “perform” for the camera and there’s no pressure to rush.
